Kim Huntington

Certified Veterinary Technician

Originally from Hastings, Minnesota, Kim moved to Colorado in 2001 to attend Colorado State University. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science in December 2005. Her love of animals and veterinary medicine lead her to attend Front Range Community College-Larimer Campus Veterinary Technology program. She completed the program in August 2007 and received her Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology. To become a certified technician she then had to pass a state board exam and did so in January 2008. Kim started her career at a small animal practice in Colorado Springs. She was there for nearly 5 years when the opportunity arose to work at a veterinary specialty center. Before moving to Grand County Kim was a member of a small animal internal medicine specialist in Colorado Springs for about a year and a half. In her free time Kim enjoys spending time with her husband and twins. She has four dogs, and enjoys biking, running, horseback riding, camping, traveling, tennis, skiing and crocheting! Kim is looking forward to continuing her career at Grand Animal Hospital.
