Cancellation/Missed Appointment Policy

Our goal is to provide quality and efficient medical care to your pets.  In order to do so, we have to implement a cancellation policy.  This allows us to make better use of available appointments to treat animals in need of care.  In order to attend to the medical needs of our clients, we respectfully ask for you to be on time for your appointments or to call promptly if you are going to miss your appointment.

Appointment Cancellations:

We require that appointments are cancelled or rescheduled 24 business hours prior to the scheduled appointment time.  Appointments are in high demand and this allows another pet to be cared for in your absence.  To cancel an appointment, please call our office phone line at 970-363-7271 or email us at info@grandanimals.com.

No Show Policy:

A “no show” is a missed appointment time or a late cancellation (did not cancel appointment 24 hours in advance.)  A failure to cancel or show for your appointment will result in a $25 charge billed to your account.  Future services will be withheld until this fee is paid.  Three no shows will result in having to pay for your office visit with a credit card over the phone when the appointment is booked.

Late Cancellations:

Late cancellations will be treated as a “no show.”

Surgery/Dentistry Cancellations:

A credit card will be taken at the time your surgery or dental appointment is booked.  Surgery/dental appointments must be cancelled 2 business days prior to the scheduled appointment time.  If it is a late cancellation or a no show, a $50 fee will be charged to the credit card used to book the appointment.
